The Great Parndon Community Association is a community association based in the centre of the community, and over the years it has become the heart of the community, providing venues and equipment for activities of all ages, from the very young through to the very old to be able to develop and thrive.
We are a self funding voluntary organisation, receiving no grants from any statuary bodies, this has been recognised by the charities commission and have granted the G.P.C.A. charitable status .
Here at the GPCA we employ over 60 local people, we provide 800 plus pre-school places as well as a full day care nursery, after school club and holiday club. Over the years the GPCA have help sponsor town wide activities such as the Town show, the Playhouse, Pets Corner and Pop Concerts in the Town Park, and currently we sponsor the very successful Country and Western festival held each year in August in the Park.
The G.P.C.A. continues to grow with the main aim to provide a service for the whole of the community and the people within it, and because of this it has adopted the very recognisable slogan of
“PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE”
