The Link is part of the Great Parndon Community Association and is the community venue for the Sumners Farm area, giving them the opportunity to be able to develop their own community facility.

The Link currently is instrumental in providing a venue for local football, we currently have 7 Mini Soccer teams, 12 Junior teams, 1 ladies team and 3 Adult teams. Each year we organise an international competition with our partners form Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, since we have began back in year 2000, we have provided international competition for over 600 local children developing their skills and knowledge of our EU partners.

The Link has its own social club where we have:

• ALL LIVE TV SPORTS including FOOTBALL and BOXING
• Large HD TV’s
• In house muisc systems offering all types of music
• Bar Sports - Pool Crib Darts and quiz nights
• Weekend Entertainment
• Childrens Play Area, inside and out
• Smoking Area
• Garden area
• Club prices
• Every other Thursday we have a Country and Western music night
• Once month we have an Irish music night
• Weekly we have an Aikido Club and Karate club.

If you are local to the area why not pop in and meet the team we are open daily from 3pm and midday at weekends.

The Link has a very extensive Football programme. We provide facilities including changing rooms and showers, parking, social and training. We currently have: 7 Mini Soccer Teams 11 Junior Teams 3 Men’s Teams 1 Ladies Team

Every year we have an International Tournament either here at the Link or in Prague. Czech Republic, were over the last 8 years we have given the opportunity to over 600 local children to experience international competition.

Every year we have an extensive maintenance programme were all the pitches are sanded, re-seeded and vertidrained. We employ a groundsman who looks after the pitches throughout the year and makes sure that the equipmemt is safe and secure.
